I strive to provide compassionate care to parents and families throughout their pregnancy, birth, and postpartum journey. I believe every family deserves to have evidence-based information and continuous physical and emotional support regardless of their financial status.
I completed Birth Doula, Intro to Childbirth, and Lactation Training with Sharon Muza, a DONA International certified trainer. I have my Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED certification, as well as a Doula Certification through Expert Rating Global Certifications. I am also a current member of NAPS doulas (Northwest Association for Perinatal Support) and working on my NAPS certification. I believe in continuous education and am constantly looking for new learning opportunities to improve my ability to support my clients.
My entire life, I have felt called to support other people. While in school, I volunteered with multiple organizations and was president of a community service club. I started babysitting at a young age and have always loved working with children. I first became interested in birth and supporting new parents when I attended the birth of my younger sister at 18. I didn't know it then, but that experience ignited a passion for supporting new families. After having the support of a doula at the birth of my son, I knew that I wanted to be a doula as well. I am an empathetic, kind, and passionate doula and feel lucky to support birthing families. I love the opportunity to empower new parents and help them recognize and achieve their goals for birth and postpartum. I connect deeply with my clients and care for them as if they are my own family.
